The exact warranty duration, covered components and conditions depend on the purchased model, battery and supplied warranty documentation. The invoice and written warranty card provided with the product will govern the applicable coverage.

At a glance

  • Keep the invoice, warranty card and vehicle details safely.
  • Warranty coverage depends on the product and component.
  • Normal wear, misuse and unauthorised modification are generally not covered.
  • Contact support before arranging unauthorised repairs.

This information provides general guidance for SOLVOLT products supplied through Suranya Global or its authorised channels. Model-specific warranty terms may vary and should always be checked against the documents supplied with the purchased product.

1. Scope of This Information

This page explains the general warranty and after-sales process for SOLVOLT vehicles, batteries, chargers and supplied components.

It does not replace the product-specific warranty card, invoice, manufacturer’s conditions or mandatory rights available under applicable law.

2. Documents Governing Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage is determined using the applicable:

  • Original purchase invoice or authorised sales record.
  • Product or vehicle warranty card.
  • Battery and charger warranty documentation.
  • Vehicle identification and component serial numbers.
  • Service and maintenance records, where required.
  • Model-specific manufacturer warranty conditions.

Where this website provides general information that differs from a valid product-specific warranty document, the applicable written warranty document will ordinarily govern, subject to applicable law.

3. Warranty Commencement and Registration

Warranty normally begins from the date recorded on the valid retail invoice, delivery record or applicable warranty documentation.

Customers may be required to register the warranty or provide vehicle, battery, motor, chassis, invoice and contact details. Failure to provide correct information may delay verification or support.

4. General Warranty Coverage

Subject to the applicable written warranty, coverage may include repair or replacement of a component confirmed to have a manufacturing or material defect during the applicable warranty period.

Component Category General Position
Vehicle components Coverage is subject to the model-specific warranty card and confirmed defect assessment.
Motor and controller Coverage depends on the supplied warranty terms, proper use and inspection findings.
Battery and charger Separate conditions, duration and exclusions may apply according to battery type.
Accessories Coverage applies only where expressly stated in the supplied documents.
Consumable items Normal wear items are generally excluded unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed.

Warranty service may involve inspection, repair, component replacement or another appropriate remedy depending on the defect and applicable terms.

5. Battery and Charger Warranty

Battery coverage depends on the selected battery type, configuration and warranty documentation supplied with the vehicle. Lead-acid and lithium batteries may have different warranty conditions.

Battery performance is affected by charging practices, storage, usage, temperature, load, discharge patterns and maintenance. A gradual reduction in capacity through ordinary use may not by itself constitute a manufacturing defect.

Customers should use only the approved charger and follow the operating, charging and storage instructions supplied with the product.

6. General Warranty Exclusions

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable warranty documents, warranty may not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, ageing or gradual performance reduction.
  • Tyres, tubes, brake pads, bulbs, cables, cosmetic parts and other consumable or wear items.
  • Damage caused by accident, collision, misuse, overloading, racing or improper operation.
  • Water entry, flooding, fire, corrosion, extreme weather or other external causes.
  • Use of an unapproved charger, electrical source, accessory, component or modification.
  • Unauthorised repair, tampering, alteration or opening of sealed components.
  • Failure to follow charging, maintenance, storage or service instructions.
  • Damage caused during transportation not arranged by an authorised channel.
  • Commercial or abnormal use outside the product’s intended operating conditions.
  • Missing, altered or unreadable chassis, motor, battery or product identification numbers.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Retain the original invoice and warranty documents.
  • Use and maintain the product according to instructions.
  • Use only approved chargers, parts and accessories.
  • Complete required service or inspection schedules.
  • Stop using the product if continued operation may worsen damage or create a safety risk.
  • Report issues promptly and provide accurate product and customer information.
  • Do not arrange unauthorised repair before claim assessment unless urgently required for safety.

8. How to Raise a Warranty Claim

1

Contact Support

Share the issue through support email or WhatsApp.

2

Provide Details

Share invoice, model, serial numbers and contact details.

3

Document Issue

Provide photographs, video or error information if requested.

4

Inspection

Allow authorised inspection before repair or replacement.

A claim is not automatically approved merely because it is submitted. Eligibility is confirmed after verifying the product, documents, warranty status and cause of the issue.

9. Inspection and Claim Resolution

The product or affected component may need to be inspected by an authorised dealer, technician, service partner or manufacturer representative.

Depending on inspection findings and applicable terms, resolution may include:

  • Technical guidance or adjustment.
  • Repair of the covered component.
  • Replacement of an eligible defective component.
  • Rejection of the claim with an explanation.
  • A paid repair estimate for non-warranty work.

Replacement of an individual component does not automatically replace the complete vehicle or restart the full original warranty period unless expressly stated.

10. After-sales Service

After-sales support may be provided through authorised dealers, service partners, technicians or other approved arrangements, depending on customer location and service availability.

Non-warranty inspection, labour, transportation, pickup, delivery, consumables and replacement parts may be chargeable. Applicable charges should be communicated before paid work is performed.

11. Spare Parts and Consumables

Availability and pricing of spare parts, batteries, chargers, accessories and consumables may vary according to model, location, supplier availability and product lifecycle.

Customers should use compatible and approved parts. Damage resulting from unsuitable or unauthorised parts may not be covered under warranty.

12. Transfer, Resale and Change of Ownership

Warranty transferability depends on the product-specific warranty terms. A new owner may be required to provide the original invoice, warranty card, vehicle details and proof of lawful transfer.

13. Statutory Consumer Rights

This information does not exclude or limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian law.

Warranty coverage is separate from the Non-refundable Booking & Refund Policy . Product issues identified after delivery are generally handled through warranty and after-sales procedures rather than cancellation of the pre-booking.

14. Changes to This Information

We may update this page due to changes in products, service arrangements, manufacturer conditions or applicable requirements. The product-specific written warranty supplied at purchase will remain the primary reference for that product.
